What can I do with a free download?

With a free download you may do anything NON-PROFIT. They are still tagged, but you are permitted to use them for performances, mixtapes, demos. Anything NON-PROFIT. Therefore, this does not mean “Free Beat.” Free downloads are typically for listening purposes.

Credit should be listed as “Produced by Magic Trax” in writing where possible and vocally otherwise.

What rights do I get by purchasing lease rights?

Leasing an instrumental grants you the right to distribute your song using the said beat commercially/for profit up to 2,500 units. This includes demos, mixtapes, street albums, performances, etc. If you distribute or profit off of more than 2,500 units, you may consider purchasing exclusive rights. You will recieve a contract stating your rights and a stereo 320kbps MP3 file (stereo 24bit 44khz Wav or tracked 24bit 44khz Wav(s) available upon request).

What rights do I get by purchasing exclusive rights?

Exclusive rights grant you the ownership of the beat in it’s entirety. Discounts are available on multiple exclusive rights purchases. Upon payment, you will receive a contract stating your rights of ownership, and the tracked out files in .wav format via email. You may receive a physical data dvd or cd if you wish (upon request only).

Prices vary and I feel it’s best to negotiate so we can come up with a price that works best for all parties involved.

What are lease prices?

Lease rights are as follows:
• $50 - Stereo 320kbps MP3 Lease(ideal for demos, websites, etc)
• $60 - Stereo 24bit 44khz Wav Lease(ideal for mixtapes, radio, etc)
• $100 - Tracked 24bit 44khz Wav Lease(ideal for albums and/or projects where the highest quality sound and control over the full mix is necessary)
